BlueSecure™ Centralized Intrusion Protection System
One Sensor. One Building.
The only complete wireless intrusion detection and protection system that centralizes RF sensing. |
Enterprise wireless LANs are rapidly being deployed, with or without IT knowledge. Administrators require a simple, yet comprehensive way to guard against malicious users and external hacker attacks. That's why the BlueSecure™ Centralized Intrusion Protection System (IPS) is indispensable as an RF intrusion detection and protection system. BlueSecure Centralized IPS is comprised of two components; centralized phased array 802.11a/b/g RF sensor and management software built-into the BlueView Management System. It's a complete security monitoring solution that protects your information assets from current and emerging wireless threats.
Centralized Sensor
Bluesocket is the only vendor that provides a centralized sensor architecture, which greatly reduces the cost and complexity of RF IPS deployments. By utilizing a patent-pending phased array high-gain antenna system, Bluesocket is able to cover a five story building with one RF sensor.
Protect Against Rogue Devices
BlueSecure Centralized IPS protects the enterprise from all types of rogue devices including Access Points, rogue clients, neighboring WLANs, peer-to-peer (ad hoc) networks, and software APs as they appear.
Identify Hackers Before They Attack
Wireless hackers are armed with a variety of tools and can break your WLAN with probe-based identity theft algorithms and denial-of-service attacks. BlueSecure Centralized IPS scans for these suspicious activities across your entire enterprise alerting you to attacks in real time so you can respond before damage is done.

| Web Based Management - All Centralized Sensor Data is integrated into the BlueView Management System providing a single point for management of your WLAN system. |
Enforce WLAN Security Policies
WLAN security policies can reduce vulnerabilities that hackers will exploit, but policy is useless if it isn't enforced. BlueSecure IPS notifies you for policy enforcement when RF security is violated. Enforcing RF security policy for your WLAN complements all the user security and policy management tools available through BlueSecure Controllers.
| BREAKTHROUGH IN RF SENSOR DESIGN |
 |
| Housed inside a small 8”x8”x8” enclosure is the patent-pending phased array antenna system. The BlueSecure Centralized Sensor consists of 8 RF panels, much like a “mini-cell tower” with 6 panels in the horizontal plane and two in the vertical plane giving exceptional RF coverage from a single location. A complete solution consists of one 802.11a array, one 802.11b/g array and one RF Sensor linking the antennas together and providing Ethernet connectivity to the BlueView Management System. |
Ensure Compliance
For government and healthcare institutions deploying wireless, BlueSecure meets NIST recommendations, HIPAA regulations and also complies with Department of Defense Directive Number 8100.2, which calls for highly secure wireless networks and makes 802.11 intrusion detection and protection a requirement.
Diagnose Network Health Problems
When network problems are suspected, use BlueSecure IPS to drill down on any access point or client. You can launch advanced diagnostics for remote trouble-shooting using per-station statistical detail and full seven-layer traffic analysis.
Know Who is Using Your WLAN
BlueSecure Centralized IPS provides real-time updates of who’s using your WLAN. View all the access points and clients around your physical infrastructure – who’s associating with whom and what’s being sent over the WLAN.
