NetBotz Extended Warranty Service Packages

You have made an investment in protecting your facilities and infrastructure through the purchase of a NetBotz appliance. The NetBotz Extended Warranty Service Packages helps you extend that investment well into the future. Designed to complement the standard NetBotz warranty, most NetBotz appliances are eligible for an extended warranty program and associated service offerings.

Note:All NetBotz Appliances purchased since January 1, 2006 have a standard 2 year hardware warranty and a 90 day Technical Support warranty. All NetBotz products purchased before January 1, 2006, comply with the older NetBotz Warranty policy of 1 year of hardware warranty and 90 days of Technical Support warranty.

• Hardware support, including product replacement, if necessary, ensures the highest of levels of reliability
• PLUS complimentary Premium Software Modules (PSMs) only available with the purchase of an Extended Warranty Service Package

Premium Software Modules

Premium Software Modules are value-add software applications that enhance the functionality of a NetBotz appliance, and are only available through the purchase of an Extended Warranty. Premium Software Modules for NetBotz 500, 420 and 320 appliances will be developed and released on an on-going basis

All Premium Software Modules released during the term of an Extended Warranty Service Package are FREE and PERMANENT software downloads. Each PSM is a superset of all previous versions, which means that every PSM contains not only the functionality in its respective release, but the content of all previous releases as well. And it's FREE!

What Appliances are Eligible?

Most NetBotz appliances are eligible for an Extended Warranty Service Packages! Whether your appliance is brand new or been protecting your network for a while, been covered in an extended warranty program or the coverage has lapsed, it may be eligible.*

Extended Warranty Service Package Options

Several NetBotz Extended Warranty Service Package options are available to provide the exact warranty coverage your need. Warranties come in a variety of options, including length of warranty contract and quantity breaks:

• Extended Software & Support Bridge Warranty (extends the standard Software & Support from 90-days to 2 years). For new products only.
• Full Year Extended Warranty Renewal (Additional year of hardware and software warranty and support)
• 3 Year Warranty Extensions (consists of Extended Software & Support Bridge and one Full Year Extended Warranty renewal). For new products only.
• Quarterly pro-rated policies for co-termination of warranty programs (available on request)

Warranties are sold in 1, 5, and 20 unit "paks," which allow you to purchase the exact number of warranties needed at attractive prices. For example, if you have 107 appliances that require extended warranties, you would purchase:

• Five of the 20-unit paks
• One of the 5-unit pak
• Two of the 1-unit paks

*Note: Products are eligible for Extended Warranty coverage for up to 3 years after the product was purchased, which is to be no later than the product End of Sale date. To verify that an appliance or server is eligible, please contact isales@netbotz.com. Due to the lifecycle, the Netbotz 300 and NetBotz 303 are eligible for Extended Warranty coverage through January 31, 2006.
